  • The Hermitage – The Hermitage is a stately 250-year-old mansion that brings history to life. Every season brings a new theme to inspire the designers at the mansion to create a variety of handmade crafts. Past exhibits include the different styles of bridal gowns and fashion that have evolved over the past two hundred years. The Hermitage also hosts educational events as well.   • Sea Life New JerseySea Life New Jersey offers you an inside look at what life is like under the sea. Watch sea life as they move around their world.   • Bergen County Zoo – Spend a day at the Bergen County Zoo! From the chickens and sheep to the bald eagles and other wild animals, you can spend your entire day getting close to nature. If you like to work with animals, there are many employment and volunteer opportunities available.

  • Meadowlands Museum – The Meadowlands Museum is dedicated to preserving the local history. The museum hosts art exhibits as well as items from Thomas Edison and other local historic figures.
