Some homes on the market can be decades old. Here's how you can decide if a newer or older home is right for you.

Many people start their search for a home with an "I'll know it when I see it" attitude. They aren't really sure what type of home they want except for the number of bedrooms and baths they will need. Others have their heart set on a new home that they can customize the way they want it. Our real estate agents can help you find the perfect home. Comparing old vs. new homes will involve many factors.

  • Architecture – Older homes often have a more unique architecture and are built with sturdier materials. Newer homes are often more generic, but the layout can be altered if needed.
