You'll truly feel something special in the air at Magic Hour Rooftop Bar & Lounge. Located atop the Moxy Times Square, Magic Hour features an "urban amusement park" theme for an ambiance of sophisticated whimsy. Multiple bar areas serve creative takes on small plates along with beer, wine, and designer cocktails. Feel like a VIP with a one-time complimentary bar pass including expedited entry and drinks for only $49.99. Hours are 3 p.m. - midnight Monday through Wednesday, 3 p.m. - 2 a.m. Thursday, 3 p.m. - 4 a.m. Friday, 11:30 a.m. - 4 a.m. Saturday, and 11:30 a.m. - midnight Sunday.

  2. Loopy Doopy Rooftop Bar - 102 North End Ave., New York, NY 10282
Take in views of New York Harbor and Lady Liberty herself as you sip on cocktails at Loopy Doopy Rooftop Bar, perched on the 16th floor of the Conrad New York Downtown. Be sure to try one of their signature Poptails, with a grown-up popsicle served in a glass of Moët & Chandon Ice Imperial or prosecco. If you prefer something more traditional, Loopy Doopy has a selection of Casamigos Blanco, Maker's Mark, and other top-shelf liquors. Advice from regulars: try to snag a seat on one of the comfy sofas. Loopy Doopy is open from 4 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. daily except Sunday, when hours are 3 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.

  3. Gallow Green - 542 W. 27th St., New York, NY 10001
Who knew such a lush oasis existed in the heart of Manhattan's concrete jungle? Gallow Green is a charming rooftop garden at the top of the McKittrick Hotel. In keeping with the "outdoors, indoor" theme, you'll find picnic benches and wooden loveseats along with regular dining tables. The "Sleep No More" prix fixe menu offers a three-course meal with options such as calamari, Cajun salmon sandwich, and Sonora-style hot dog. Hours are 5:30 p.m. - midnight Monday through Thursday, 5:30 p.m. - 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday, and 5 p.m. - midnight Sunday.

There are even three varieties of guacamole, ranging from sweet to spicy. Cantina Rooftop is renowned for its weekend brunch, with popular dishes including tres leches French toast, huevos rancheros, and chilaquiles. Bright colors and a live DJ create a lively, fiesta-like atmosphere. Cantina Rooftop is open 5 p.m. - 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 5 p.m. - midnight Friday, 11 a.m. -midnight Saturday, and 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. Sunday.

You need travel only as far as the 14th floor of Eataly NYC Flatiron to enjoy branzino, lasagna, and other classic Mediterranean dishes made with fresh ingredients. Start with one of their inventive cocktails, such as Dill Martini made with dill-infused vodka, Borgogno Blanco, grapefruit bitters, and cucumber. Hours are 11 a.m. - 10:30 p.m. daily.
