265th NYC St. Patrick's Day Parade - New York, NY

Be a part of history at the 265th NYC St. Patrick's Day Parade. The first parade took place in 1762, predating the Declaration of Independence. Today, approximately 2 million people line the streets of Manhattan to view this beloved event.

Vivid spring colors take center stage during Macy's Flower Show. Stunning floral arrangements, lush landscapes, and delightful gardens, revolving around an annual theme, feature an assortment of flowers and plants rarely seen in one place.

Easter Parade & Easter Bonnet Festival - New York, NY

Don your finest Easter bonnet "with all the frills upon it" and join in the fun at the annual Easter Parade & Easter Bonnet Festival. The tradition of wearing new clothes for Easter symbolizes the spiritual renewal that accompanies the holiday. Songwriter Irving Berlin popularized the crowning touch of Easter bonnets in his song "Easter Parade," most famously performed by Judy Garland and Fred Astaire in the 1948 movie of the same name.

Mark your calendar for 10 a.m. on Sunday, 4/5. Admission is free.

Cherry Blossoms at BBG - New York, NY

One of the more breathtaking signs of spring is the sight of cherry blossom trees in full bloom. With 26 species on site, Cherry Blossoms at BBG provides a spectacular setting to view these incredible trees. Cherry blossoms begin blooming in late March, with different species blooming in succession through mid-May, so there's something new to see with multiple visits.
